Before I die I want to…

Every great project starts with a great idea, and that’s exactly how this one started.

The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tomah, WI was inspired to create a unique, interactive way for veterans to express their hopes and goals, in a way that would be inclusive to all veterans. The Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center then handed their idea off to La Crosse Sign group to find an answer.

Joel House, a Sign Consultant at La Crosse Sign shares, “In the sign business typically signs are built to direct, communicate and advertise.  When the opportunity comes to create something that inspires the community, you realize a business becomes more than a business.” After doing some research La Crosse Sign had a plan. They were to design and build a four sided sign inviting patients, visitors and staff to write out dreams and goals.

Our black diamond Richlite was the perfect material for this project, acting as a weather proof chalkboard all year round La Crosse Sign knew this was the right material for the job. We are so proud to help turn this great idea into a reality.

How would you fill in the blank?
