Piece-o-Sheet Ravenswood Knives
We at Intectural are all fans of what Brendan McDermott and his business partner Chris Mayor were able to create with their Richlite Piece-o-Sheet pieces. Brendan and Chris make up Ravenswood Hand Forged, an artisan craft shop specializing in hand forged blades. Chris Mayor, who teaches at Fire Arts of Chicago, has been forging blades for almost a decade. Chris refines every piece that gets the Ravenswood brand. Brendan hand forges knives that are literally hand made by a chef, for a chef. Intectural got Brendan and Chris a few pieces of the Richlite material to scale their knife handles, and the results are an amazing one of a kind work of art. They work together to provide old world hammer and anvil craftsmanship for one of kind pieces. No two knives are the exact same. Brendan and Chris begin with an idea and hone each blade freehand for its intended purpose.
