Richlite Exterior Cladding

Richlite is often considered the best product for exterior cladding due to its durability, resistance to weather and ease of maintenance. It is a composite material made from resin-infused paper and is water-resistant, making it perfect for use in outdoor applications. Richlite is environmentally friendly as it is made from recycled materials and is highly sustainable. It is also fire-resistant and is an excellent thermal insulator, which makes it a popular choice for energy-efficient buildings. Due to its lightweight construction, it is easy to handle and install. These features make Richlite a great option for exterior cladding.

Richlite is best installed as a rainscreen application. This allows for equalized air on all four sides of the panel and allows for free thermal expansion and contraction.

Richlite is typically 5/16” (8mm) thick panels installed on wood (or Richlite) furring strips or extruded aluminum Hat and J-Channels spaced at 24” o.c. with color-matched stainless steel face fasteners.
